PenDrive Shortcut problem solution (100% tested working)
Hello readers, today many of you have been facing problems in PenDrive that the root directory transforms into a shortcut, which after opening opens the main directories. This happens just due to error in attributes. We are going to share here the solution for it. Just read the full post and get the solution fixed. The process is very easy to understand. And we are going to share the simplest method for the solution.

Requirements :
You need to run this method in Command Prompt.
Steps to proceed in Command Prompt :
- Open the Start Menu and choose Run
- In Run dialogue box, search type “cmd” and press Enter (To be simple“Start” -> Run -> type cmd and click on OK.)
- Here I’ll assume your PenDrive drive letter as F
- Now enter the following command in the command prompt window “attrib -h -r -s /s /d f:\*.*” -> Press Enter (See the below screenshot. There should be a backslash after f in the above command. So please see the command in the below screenshot).

You can just copy the above command and paste it in the command prompt.
To do that right-click in the Command Prompt and select paste because keyboard shortcuts won’t work and now press enter.
5. Now check for your files in Pen Drive, and I’m sure that they were all normal as before
